Barber's Gym

The gym is a private functional training facility open to people wanting to make a positive impact on their lives. It is a unique gym offering personal and group training as well as online coaching.

Located in an industrial railway arch at Hackney Downs Studios, London. The gym has a rough around the edges feel that promotes the work ethic we inspire, coached by experienced and knowledgable trainers who will motivate and challenge you.

We are proud of our tight knit community of like minded individuals working to make improvements, push themselves and achieve. A positive mind promotes positive action and we welcome anyone that adheres to these ethics to grow our membership based on these fundamental principles. We are open to all that want to take their physicality to the next level.

We train athletes, professionals, individuals, groups, people open to embrace effort in order to create change. We utilise traditional training concepts, experiment with new ideas and use our experience, creativity and expertise to tailor the programme to your specific goals.

The efforts required will challenge your boundaries. There are no shortcuts in our world. Physical and psychological hardships will test you on any journey, but our community dedicated to improvement will work to motivate and inspire you. GROUP TRAINING

We offer a variety of group training sessions that target more generalised goals to improve your strength, power and work capacity.  During these sessions you will be supported by a motivated peer group and knowledgeable trainers.

Monthly membership - Once weekly session £50.00 / Twice weekly sessions £80.00 / Unlimited sessions £100.00

Fundamentals Training - New starters are advised to complete a fundimentals course of 2 private sessions that will introduce our exercise practices and establish good training standards for your safety and session efficiency. You will learn the basic movements we use, and this will give you a foundation of understanding correct form and teach you about the training style we focus on in the strength and conditioning sessions. the one to one sessions are offered at a discounted rate of £60.00.

Strength & Conditioning (Mon - Thur 07:00 & 19:00, Fri 07:00, Sat & Sun 09:00)
A mixed ability class focused on building strength and work capacity. We utilise body weight exercises as well as weighted movements with barbells, dumb bells and kettlebells.
